Every year the MFA Design and Technology program at Parsons organizes a show to present the graduating class’ thesis projects. As part of the event organization, I was chosen to be the web team lead and creative director to produce the 2019 website, based on the overall branding created for the Thesis Showcase. Working with a team of 5 students, we developed the initial concepts for the website and built the wireframes for how the content would be structured throughout the site. After rounds of iterations and taking into consideration our user experience research, we proceeded to develop the approved site using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. We also used libraries such as Three.js to create three-dimensional shapes in the background. The website was delivered on time to leverage as a marketing asset for the event and as an informational tool during the thesis show event.
